MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

*    Manage several certification institutes in Delaware (with major operations in the People¡¯s Republic of China) specializing in Certification programs in Marketing/Sales, Production and Inventory Management, Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Human  Resource Management, and other business-related programs, including ¡°Train the Trainer¡±.  Programs are offered globally.

*    Manage a consulting firm specializing in consultation services in resource management (purchasing, contract management, project management, materials, logistics, safety, and quality management). Perform Purchasing Systems and Benchmarking Reviews of public and private sector purchasing and contracting organizations.  Assist organizations in their efforts to source in China. As Director of a proprietary institute, prepare and teach in-house and public seminars on a broad array of resource management subjects.  Increase organizational effectiveness and efficiency with measurable impact to the bottom line.

*    More than 35 years experience as an adjunct professor at Chaminade University, the University of Maryland (Overseas Division), the University of Texas at Arlington, the University of Dallas, the University of California-Riverside, UCLA, Keller Graduate School, University of Phoenix, Ivy University, California    American University, Cal-Poly Pomona, Royal Roads University, and other institutions.  Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in business, finance, accounting, general management, purchasing/procurement management, project management, and contract management. Develop courses and programs of instruction.  Teach courses in all modes, including Distance Education and On-Line.  Also provided academic leadership as acting President for one private university and Overseas Director of several other private universities.  Established a national reputation as a speaker and lecturer.

 

*    More than 20 years of public and private sector project, purchasing, and contract management and consulting experience, including positions with major budgetary and multi-functional responsibility     (purchasing, accounting/finance, contract management, personnel, and intellectual property/licensing).  Established operating budgets and organizational policies and procedures.  Increased organizational  economy and efficiency and effected significant cost savings.  More than 10 years facility contracting experience.
