IPSCMI Expert - Loran K. Boenig

LORAN K.BOENIG has had an international reputation as a seminar leader and consultant in project management, problem solving and decision making, performance systems management, analytic troubleshooting, business writing, and communication skills, with 35 plus years of experience in the field of results-based corporate training and development.

Currently the Chief Operating Officer and Treasurer for CATTAN Services Group, Inc., a supply chain and logistics managementadvisory, counseling, and training firm specializing in purchasing, transportation, inventory control, and warehousing, she is responsible for administrative services, course and proposal development, finances, strategic planning and marketing.  Loran provides the specialized knowledge and skills necessary to manage successfully in a rapidly changing, global multicultural and multinational environment.  She has acted since 1995 as the primary liaison between CATTAN’s growing international client base and its internal resources and formerly served as our Vice President of Client Services responsible for seminar scheduling and bookings, instructor and consultant assignments, seminar promotional materials, and quality control for instructional design, course development, proposals, and reports.

With more than 15 years of experience conducting approximately 400 public and on-site seminars for Kepner-Tregoe, Inc., Loran’s primary areas of expertise included presenting and customizing technologies ranging from train-the-trainer to pieceworker training, from project management to problem solving and decision making, and from managing involvement to managing human performance.  Her diverse capabilities and commitment to quality delivery have made each of her workshops a forum for maximizing her clients' process and people skills.  She has also gained first-hand manufacturing, purchasing, and distribution experience as a supervisor for Princeton Research Press, where she successfully planned and managed new product launches and revisions from the design stage through delivery.

During her tenure as a consultant and trainer, Ms. Boenig has achieved a diversified, successful track record in her work with petrochemical, energy, food and drug, automotive, defense, information systems, paper and other natural resource industries, as well as with a variety of service industries.  She has demonstrated expertise in introducing multi-level behavioral changes into organizations through dynamic seminars, consultation, and interactive communication.

Since 1981, Ms. Boenig has been helping organizations improve performance from the executive level to the shop floor.  She has assisted such clients as AETNA, Ameritech, AT&T Global Information Solutions, Briggs & Stratton, Ethicon, Ford, General Mills, General Motors, Hewlett-Packard, Kimberly Clark, M&M Mars, Martin-Marietta, Metropolitan Life, Motorola, Novell, Oklahoma Gas & Electric, Phillips Petroleum, Proctor & Gamble, Sematech, Sprint, Yoplait, and others.

Ms. Boenig, a summa cum laude graduate, earned her Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from Rutgers University, where she taught literature, business communication, and writing courses while completing her Ph.D. course work.
